Stockport Tattoo Convention

Stockport Tattoo Convention began life in 2021, founded by a group of tattoo studio regulars who had grown tired of the clique-driven atmosphere at other UK tattoo events. Frustrated by conventions where personal connection between organisers, artists, traders and music acts was missing, the founding team decided to build something smaller and more welcoming themselves, scouting a venue and putting together the first event almost overnight. That first outing proved the concept: a more intimate gathering with a curated selection of artists, local traders and music acts created the genuine, personal experience they had been searching for elsewhere.

Now operating as Mancunia Tattoo Convention, the event brings together a select number of the best tattoo artists and vendors from the UK and Europe to showcase their work and products in a friendly, inclusive setting. Accessibility sits at the heart of the mission, with organisers committed to keeping the event open to people from all walks of life and making time to chat with attendees throughout the run-up and on the day itself. Rooted in Stockport and now welcoming visitors from across the region, it remains built around genuine community spirit within the tattoo industry.
