Independent Tattoo has been Delaware's most talked about tattoo studio since 1997, operating in Selbyville near the Maryland/Delaware state line, just four miles west of the Atlantic Ocean. Custom tattoo designs are the studio's specialty, backed by a crew with more than 80 combined years of experience capable of producing artistic and unique work in any style imaginable. The studio is licensed and regulated by the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, using hospital sterilization and single-use, disposable needles to keep client safety a priority. Walk-ins are always welcome, and consultations can be arranged to customize a design for each client.

The team includes artists Matthew Amey, Tres Denk, James Delzel, Justin Call, and Nellie DeHart, working under studio manager Tasha Halphen. Clients must be at least 18 years old with a state-issued photo ID to be tattooed in the studio. Gift certificates are available for purchase and can be shipped or picked up in person. The studio keeps regular hours throughout the week, with appointment-only availability on Mondays and Sundays, welcoming visitors for consultations and custom tattoo work in a shop rooted in decades of experience along Delaware's coast.
