AJ Constable Tattoo Constattoo

AJ Constable Tattoo Constattoo is a custom tattoo studio in Cardiff run by artist AJ Constable, who brings over forty years of experience as a professional artist and has worked as a licensed tattooist since 2015. His background includes an HND in Production Illustration and many years as a self-employed graphic designer, giving him a strong illustrative foundation that he applies to bespoke, story-driven designs. He works across all major tattooing styles but favours black and grey, geometric, ornamental, floral and illustrative work, with a particular pull toward dark, gothic and mythical imagery, mythology and fantasy themes, and ancient symbolism, sigilism, occult, pagan and Celtic art. He is equally comfortable producing traditional Japanese, Polynesian, neo-traditional and fine line tattoos.

The studio offers unique custom tattoo design, general tattooing, tattoo restoration, cover-ups and scar covering, with free consultations available on request by WhatsApp or email. Limited walk-ins may be accommodated when the artist is available. Every design is prepared thoughtfully in advance and discussed with the client before tattooing begins, ensuring the final piece reflects their vision. The studio is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm, serving clients throughout Cardiff.
