Sugar Skull Tattoo Studio

Sugar Skull Tattoo Studio has been part of Glasgow's tattoo scene since 2013, built on the idea that consistently good work brings clients back. The studio is home to three resident artists, each specialising in their own particular styles, and regularly welcomes guest artists from around the world to add fresh perspectives. Every piece is created in a clean, private and sterile environment, with an emphasis on custom, bespoke designs rather than off-the-shelf artwork. Clients are invited to bring their own ideas or sketches, and the team takes time to listen, develop concepts and prepare a design before any tattooing begins.

The studio has built a particular reputation for skull tattoos, producing work that ranges from intricate black-and-grey detail to bold, colourful pieces, always aiming to capture both technical detail and personality. Consultations and designs are offered free of charge, and visits run strictly by appointment, arranged through the studio's contact form or email. Whether a client is heavily tattooed or considering their first piece, the artists aim to guide the process with informed advice and a strong focus on customer care. Active within wider tattoo communities and forums, the artists stay attuned to current trends while keeping every design personal to the individual wearing it.
