The Tattoo Studio

The Tattoo Studio sits on Cheltenham Road in the heart of Bristol, home to award-winning artist Ben Boston. Born in Bristol in 1976, Ben showed artistic talent from childhood, later studying art at Brunel and Filton Colleges before being drawn into tattooing after attending conventions. He apprenticed under the studio's previous owner in 1996, excelled quickly, and took over the business himself by 1998, building it further alongside colleague Steuart Kingsley into a shop with a loyal local following.

The studio offers all styles of custom tattooing, with particular specialism in cover-up work, transforming old or unwanted tattoos into fresh, striking pieces. Clients are guided with professional advice drawn from almost 30 years of experience, with close attention to detail and a genuine commitment to client satisfaction on every project. The atmosphere is described as relaxed and comfortable, making the studio a welcoming space for both new tattoo clients and those returning for cover-up transformations.
