Gratitude Tattoos

Gratitude Tattoos is an intentional and private studio in Cochrane, Alberta, specializing in the hand-poked, stick-and-poke tattoo method. Every tattoo is applied by hand, dot by dot, without a machine, resulting in a process that is less invasive, less painful, and quicker to heal than conventional tattooing. This technique lends itself to fine, detailed linework and a distinctive pointillism-style shading, producing an organic look that clients specifically seek out.

The studio is run by Marni, a self-taught hand-poke tattoo artist working since 2017 who has since become a tattoo teacher, including offering self tattoo training. She favors ornamental designs, flowers, animals, and nature-inspired imagery, with a focus on custom work that transforms a client's personal vision into a design meant to be cherished. The studio operates by appointment only, with no walk-ins, guiding clients through a clear process from initial idea and booking form to deposit, draft review, and aftercare guidance.
