Legacy Ink Tattoos is a private studio in downtown Nanaimo, Canada, run by Ryan Holden, who has been tattooing for over 18 years. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, he trained under Brian Martin at Brian's Tattoo Studio in Abbotsford for more than five years, developing a focus on detailed black and grey work. He then spent seven years tattooing abroad in South America, Europe, and Africa before returning home to settle in Nanaimo in 2014, where he continues to tattoo most of the year while still traveling for conventions and guest spots.

The studio specializes in fineline, geometric, blackwork, and mandala tattooing, with each piece custom designed for strong readability, depth, and an ergonomic fit on the wearer's body. Ryan is known for a detailed style built around repeat patterns and intricate mandalas, blending bold and fine lines with large areas of solid black and negative space to bring designs to life on the skin.
