Gypsy Rose Tattoo & Piercing

Gypsy Rose Tattoo & Piercing has served Calgary since March 2006, when it opened with two tattoo artists and one piercer. The shop has since grown into a more central location with a staff of ten, offering custom tattoos, walk-in tattoos, and cover-up tattoos alongside professional body piercing performed with high-quality jewelry. Both tattooing and piercing are available by appointment or walk-in, with valid government-issued ID required. The studio was founded by Nina Gremo, who began her career at the historic Toronto tattoo studio Way Cool on Queen Street in 1999 before working locally and internationally and eventually bringing that experience together to create the shop.

Known as one of Calgary's friendliest tattoo and piercing studios, the shop maintains an approachable, welcoming atmosphere for clients seeking anything from a simple walk-in piece to a fully custom design. Beyond tattooing and piercing, the studio has a strong record of community involvement, hosting charitable events that have raised nearly $15,000 for the Calgary Food Bank along with several tonnes of donated food and toiletries, plus over $12,000 for organizations including the Calgary Women's Shelter, ARF, and the Calgary Humane Society. The talented team includes Nina, Wes, Dominique, Daryle, Lucas, and Emily.
