Snowy Mountain Tattoo Co.

Snowy Mountain Tattoo Co. has served Truckee, California since 2018, bringing together artists from diverse backgrounds and styles in a space where mountain culture meets creative craft. The studio specializes in custom work spanning fine line, blackwork, color realism, and traditional American tattooing, with artists individually skilled in areas like custom blackwork, fine line and script, and realism/illustrative pieces. Every tattoo begins as a conversation, with the team emphasizing a collaborative, intentional approach — listening first, designing second, and tattooing third — so each piece reflects what it genuinely means to the client.

Rooted in the Sierra Nevada's spirit of authenticity and nature, the studio draws design inspiration from its surroundings, incorporating botanical elements and mountain geometry alongside refined, minimal linework. Safety and consent are treated as non-negotiable, with hospital-grade sterilization and strict protocols behind every session, and the shop welcomes all bodies and identities as part of its commitment to inclusivity. Appointments can be booked online, and the studio operates Tuesday through Saturday. With upfront communication and a focus on artistic integrity over volume, the team aims to create meaningful work for visitors and locals alike who want a lasting piece of their time in Truckee.
