A Toda Madre Tattoos was founded by Jose Velazquez in 2013 and has spent over a decade serving Northern Nevada as a home for authentic West Coast–inspired artistry in Reno. What began as a passion for Chicano culture and fine-line lettering has grown into one of the city's most trusted tattoo destinations. The team specializes in bold, meaningful work ranging from intricate fine-line lettering to traditional Chicano black and grey designs, with every piece created with care, precision, and respect for the cultural roots behind the craft. Whether it's a first tattoo, a meaningful tribute, or a full-sleeve masterpiece, artists collaborate closely with clients to bring their vision to life.
Beyond tattoos, the shop also offers professional piercing services, so every visitor leaves with a memorable experience. The space is clean, welcoming, and creative, built on professionalism and respect from the moment clients walk through the door. Clients often become part of the shop's extended family over time, praising its friendly atmosphere, skillful artistry, and attention to detail. Here, ink is treated as more than art—it's a way to express a personal story and wear it proudly for life, and the shop remains a genuine staple of the Northern Nevada tattoo community.
