A Darker Path Tattoo Studio operates in Schererville, Indiana, as an appointment-only, private tattoo studio. Founded in August 2019 by owner and artist Aaron Peters, a multiple award-winning tattooer with more than a decade of experience in the industry at the time, the studio was built to be more of a destination location rather than a typical walk-in shop. No one is permitted inside without a scheduled appointment, and consulting or booking is not handled on a walk-in basis. Booking and inquiries are only accepted during specific windows to keep the artists from overbooking, since client demand consistently outweighs their availability.
The studio's artists take on projects based on their own interests, style, and preferences, resulting in a curated, personalized approach to each tattoo rather than a high-volume parlor model. The team includes Aaron Peters alongside artists Emily Erickson, FloIE Valente, and Chaz Fiscus, with Uriel Rivera working as a tattoo artist apprentice. A Darker Path does not offer any body piercing services or products, keeping its focus entirely on custom tattoo work within a private, distraction-free environment designed for clients seeking a dedicated studio experience in the Schererville area.
