Ink by Tisha, located in Oak Lawn, Illinois, is the tattoo side of InkySPA Tattoo Studio LLC, a combined tattoo and day spa run by owner and operator Katisha "Ink by Tisha" Farrell, a tattoo artist and licensed esthetician. The studio specializes in traditional black and gray, color, and cover-up tattoos, helping clients design the right piece for their next tattoo. Operating inside The SSL Studios, the space blends body art with esthetic services, offering a personalized beauty experience built around the idea that "skin becomes canvas."
Beyond tattooing, the studio offers waxing and facial treatments, allowing clients to combine their ink appointments with a broader self-care visit. Appointments are required, with the studio open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sundays, Mondays, and major holidays. Clients can book tattoo consultations in person or virtually, and online booking is available directly through the studio's website. Cover-up work is a particular point of pride, with clients describing meaningful transformations of past tattoos. The atmosphere is described as professional yet comfortable, with an emphasis on communication, care, and making every client feel at ease throughout their visit.
