Berkeley Tattoo has served Berkeley, the East Bay, and California since 2008. The shop is built around a simple motto—Clean, Courteous, and Professional—and prides itself on making both first-time clients and seasoned collectors feel comfortable, listened to, and well taken care of. Walk-ins are welcome, and the studio operates seven days a week, with the team encouraging walk-in clients to call in as early as 11am to plan their visit.
The artists specialize in custom work across a wide range of styles, including Traditional, Neo Traditional, Japanese-inspired, full color, black and grey, tribal, portraiture and realism, sci-fi, anime, and custom lettering. Cover-ups and the reworking of old tattoos are a specialty as well. Anthony Martinez and Keene Jackson lead the artistic team, bringing a genuine passion for drawing to every piece they create.
