The Forge Tattoo is a professional tattoo studio rooted in craft and intention, offering clients a focused, welcoming environment where the work comes first. Set in a creative, intimate space, the studio is well suited to styles like blackwork, fine line, and neo-traditional — approaches that reward both technical precision and artistic depth. Whether you're planning a bold statement piece or something delicate and personal, the artists here bring genuine care to every stage of the process, from consultation through healing.
Fairfax sits in the heart of Marin County, a small but spirited town known for its outdoor culture, independent streak, and long history of counterculture energy. The people who come through the door tend to be thoughtful about their ink — hikers, artists, longtime locals, and transplants who've fallen for the redwood-draped hills. That sensibility shapes the studio's atmosphere: unhurried, community-minded, and deeply connected to the kind of place where self-expression has always felt right at home.
