Dr Undo Tattoo

Dr Undo Tattoo, located in Commack, New York, is a physician-led practice specializing in laser tattoo removal rather than tattooing itself. Led by Dr. Messina, a laser medicine expert and Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, the practice has offered laser tattoo removal since 2005, building on a medical practice dating back to 1986. Every laser session is personally performed by Dr. Messina himself, ensuring continuity of care rather than rotating technicians, and the practice reports having lasered over 9,000 tattoos. Five FDA-approved Q-switched lasers are used on-site to target multiple ink colors, including specialized settings Dr. Messina developed for difficult red and blue pigments.

Beyond multicolor tattoo removal, services include microblade eyebrow tattoo removal, scalp micropigmentation, and pain management options such as topical anesthesia, injections, and nerve blocks to make sessions more comfortable. The practice emphasizes patient safety and privacy, tailoring every treatment plan to the individual's skin tone, ink volume, and medical history, while remaining transparent about the limits of laser technology on certain ink colors. Consultations and appointments can be booked directly online, with fast confirmation and same-day sessions often available. For those seeking a safe, medically supervised path to fading or removing unwanted ink on Long Island, this Commack practice offers experienced, hands-on physician care.
