Progressive Tattoo has been part of the Lindenhurst, New York community since 2007, founded by artist Rustin Revilla to reflect his goal of always "progressing" and moving forward. Rustin's path to tattooing began after he was discovered while living in Hawaii, having grown up drawing animations and cartoon caricatures. Following a lengthy apprenticeship and six more years of experience working for other tattoo artists, he opened his own studio in Lindenhurst, bringing a customer-focused approach to every project that comes through the door.
The studio's work spans an unusually wide creative range, from small pieces to large-scale designs, anatomical studies to floral work, and conceptual concepts to traditional tattooing. Rustin describes himself as a chameleon capable of adapting to any client's vision, creating everything from black and grey portraiture to bright new-school color work, animation-inspired pieces, realism, surrealism, and Neo-traditional art. Progressive Tattoo is open seven days a week, offering flexible afternoon and evening hours for clients throughout Long Island seeking custom, individually tailored tattoo artwork.
