Midwest Tattoo Therapy is a tattoo and piercing studio in Arlington Heights, Illinois, open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 9 PM. The studio's mission centers on empowering self-expression through skilled artistry, offered in a professional, safe, and sterile environment where clients are encouraged to sit down with an artist and talk through their ideas before getting to work. Both tattooing and piercing services are provided on-site, alongside dedicated aftercare guidance for each.
Artist Hector Barreiro brings 15 years of tattooing experience and a wide-ranging skill set spanning Japanese, geometric, fine line, realism, color work, cover-ups, touch-ups, and sleeves. His core focus, however, is black and gray work, with particular specialization in realism, Chicano style, and intricate lettering, and he aims to bring each client's vision to life with precision and depth. The studio also offers piercing services performed with an emphasis on comfort and careful technique. Walk-ins are accommodated alongside scheduled bookings, and the shop maintains a clean, welcoming atmosphere for anyone seeking tattoo or piercing work in the area.
