Where it sits
The wide, mirrored spread suits the upper back or shoulder blades, where the two halves can extend naturally outward from the spine. It also works across the chest or as a large piece down the length of the back. Shrinking it below mid-size will lose the layered feather detail near the tips and the shading transitions between rows.
