The ResurrectionThis design draws on Poseidon/Neptune, the Greek and Roman god of the sea, shown here with his trident, flowing robes and beard, radiating a sunburst halo while sea serpents and fish churn in waves below. People choose it to represent mastery over chaos, command of the ocean or unpredictable forces, or a personal connection to the sea. The radiating background also carries a divine or god-like reading, so some wear it for that spiritual weight rather than the maritime one.
Where it sits
The tall vertical composition, with the figure's raised trident and the sunburst above, suits the back, spine or side ribs where the elongated shape has room to breathe. It could also work on a thigh or forearm if scaled down carefully, but the radiating sunburst lines and fine serpent scales would blur first if shrunk too far. A full back or upper arm placement keeps the linework and the wave detail at the bottom legible.
