A galleon under full sail flying a skull-and-crossbones flag, cresting a large wave under storm clouds with lightning. This design draws on old maritime tattoo tradition where ships symbolised a voyage through hardship, resilience against the elements, or a rebellious streak tied to the pirate flag. The storm and waves add a reading of struggle survived rather than calm passage.
Where it sits
The composition is tall and layered, with sky and rigging at top, the ship body in the middle, and wave at the base, so it suits a forearm, shin, or upper arm where that vertical flow can be followed top to bottom. It could also wrap a calf, using the natural curve to carry the wave around. Sized down too far, the rigging lines and cloud shading will crowd together and lose separation.
