Where it sits
This is a tall, vertical composition with the wing spreading wide at the top and narrowing toward the feet, so it suits the back, spine, or a full forearm where that vertical flow reads naturally. It could also work on the thigh or calf given the elongated shape. Shrinking it too far would lose the feather detailing in the wing and the child's facial features, which carry a lot of the piece's warmth.
