The circular composition suits a back piece, chest panel, or the front or outer side of a thigh where the full round shape can be preserved. Sizing it down to forearm scale would blur the radiating linework and pattern detail on the sack. A curved surface like the shoulder cap or upper arm could also work if the design is adapted to fit that shape rather than forced into a perfect circle.
