Where it sits
The symmetrical wing spread with a central vertical hand makes this suited to the upper back, chest plate, or sternum, where the natural body width lets both wings fan out evenly. It could also work scaled down the length of a forearm or spine if the hand is the focal point and wings are compressed. Sizing it small for a wrist or ankle would flatten the wing membrane texture and lose the bone detailing in the fingers.
