Black Market is a professional tattoo studio bringing serious craft to Monroe, Wisconsin, where quality ink isn't always around the corner. The shop offers a welcoming environment for first-timers and seasoned collectors alike, with artists whose portfolio work reflects both precision and personality. Styles like traditional American, blackwork, and neo-traditional feel right at home here — bold, timeless work built to last and suited to clients who appreciate tattooing done with intention and skill.
Monroe sits in Green County's rolling dairy country, a small Wisconsin city shaped by Swiss heritage, agricultural roots, and a tight-knit community that values authenticity. That local character tends to draw clientele who want meaningful, lasting work rather than fleeting trends — people who think carefully before committing to the chair. Getting tattooed at Black Market means experiencing something uncommon in a town this size: a genuine studio culture rooted in the craft, set against the unhurried backdrop of southern Wisconsin's quiet, pastoral charm.
