Ink is an all-custom tattoo shop and art gallery located in downtown Superior, Wisconsin, established in 2006. The studio has built its reputation on strong relationships with clients, offering a creative, fun, and comfortable atmosphere that welcomes everyone in for custom collaboration on their next tattoo. Every piece created at the shop is fully custom, designed around each client's ideas rather than pulled from flash sheets, and the space doubles as an art gallery showcasing work beyond just tattoos.
The shop's artists work across black and gray and full-color tattooing, with recurring specialties in botanical, nature, and bird-themed designs alongside darkly whimsical custom creatures and creative concepts. Appointments are booked directly with the artists, and clients are encouraged to fill out a request form to discuss their project ideas before booking. The studio does not accept walk-ins, does not offer piercings or sell jewelry, does not allow guests to accompany clients during appointments, and will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, without exception. Gift certificates are also available for those looking to give the experience as a present.
