Madd Hatter Tattoos is a professional tattoo studio bringing skilled, dedicated artistry to the heart of McDowell County. The shop offers a welcoming space where clients can expect thoughtful consultation and quality work tailored to their vision. Styles like traditional American, blackwork, and bold neo-traditional are well suited to the studio's aesthetic — timeless designs built to last and carry meaning. Whether someone is walking in for their first piece or adding to a longtime collection, the atmosphere is approachable and the commitment to the craft is clear.
Welch sits deep in the southern West Virginia coalfields, a town shaped by generations of hard work, resilience, and tight-knit community pride. That spirit carries right into the tattoo chair — clients here often want ink that means something, pieces that honor family, heritage, and the rugged Appalachian landscape surrounding them. Madd Hatter Tattoos serves as a creative anchor in a region where personal storytelling and lasting art go hand in hand.
