Good Ink Tattooing has been part of Vermont's tattoo scene since Corey Barrett established the studio in 2006, originally operating above the old Alchemist pub in Waterbury before moving up the road in 2012. The shop relocated to South Burlington in 2022, first as a private studio and now in a larger space that welcomes walk-ins alongside scheduled appointments. Corey and Liz Miner co-founded the South Burlington location in December 2022, bringing over 20 years of licensed tattooing experience and versatility across a wide range of styles. Erica Swinson and Rue Locke joined the team in 2025, rounding out the studio's artist lineup.
The shop specializes in American traditional, Japanese-inspired, and realism tattooing, among other styles, and offers both in-person and online consultations for clients planning their next piece. Located on the ground floor at Williston Road with parking available behind the building, the studio keeps flexible hours Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday reserved for appointments only. Walk-ins are welcome throughout the week, making it easy for clients to turn an idea into a finished design without extensive advance planning.
