Domo's Ancient Art Tattoo Studio serves Humboldt, Tennessee and the surrounding West Tennessee communities, including Jackson, Milan, Trenton, Dyersburg, Martin, Union City, and Henderson. The shop traces its origins to the first professional tattoo shop opened in Jackson, Tennessee over 50 years ago, and it has remained in its current Humboldt location for more than 27 years. It is an old-school tattoo shop with a modern twist, offering contemporary custom designs alongside classic Ed Hardy-style artwork, and artists are able to work from a client's own ideas or custom-draw designs to match them.
The studio's team carries a combined 117 years of tattooing experience, led by Mr. Domo, a tattooist and piercer with 55 years in the craft, alongside artists Ms. Tami and Ms. Shawna. Beyond tattooing, the studio offers body piercing using 316L surgical stainless steel jewelry, and provides gift certificates and a discount for members of the armed forces. Walk-ins are welcome, and the shop is a member of the National Tattoo Association.
