Galaxy Ink has been part of Ashland, Oregon's tattoo scene since 1999, growing from its early days into a well-established and reputable tattooing boutique. The shop is helmed by artist and owner Megan Doherty, who has been tattooing since 1995 and specializes in custom art and tattoo designs. Clients are encouraged to bring in their own ideas or browse an extensive collection of existing designs, giving Megan the material to bring hundreds of unique concepts to life over the years.
Cleanliness and safety are treated as a core part of the studio's approach. The shop operates as a state-licensed and regulated tattooing facility, adhering to all rules set by the Oregon Health Division. A Peltone & Crane steam autoclave is used and tested monthly, paired with up-to-date sterilization methods to maintain a thoroughly clean working environment. Combining decades of hands-on tattooing experience with a strong emphasis on custom design work, this Ashland studio offers a personal, boutique-style tattooing experience for clients throughout the area.
