Pop's Old Town Tattoo is a welcoming, no-nonsense tattoo studio rooted in the craft and community of Vallejo's historic Old Town district. The shop carries the spirit of classic tattooing — bold traditional work, clean black-and-grey realism, and Chicano-influenced styles feel right at home here — while skilled artists bring the focus and care that every client deserves. Whether you're walking in for your first piece or adding to a long-running collection, the atmosphere is approachable and the dedication to quality is evident in every line.
Vallejo sits at the northern edge of the San Francisco Bay Area, a gritty, resilient city with deep roots in military history, Bay Area counterculture, and a richly diverse working-class community. That mix shapes the clientele — people who know what they want and appreciate authenticity over pretense. Getting tattooed here feels connected to something real, a city that has always worn its identity proudly, right on its sleeve.
