Electric Karma Tattoo offers a welcoming, craft-focused environment where clients can expect thoughtful consultation and skilled execution from start to finish. Nestled in the southern Appalachians, the studio feels at home producing work that resonates with the region's bold, expressive sensibility — from classic American traditional and richly detailed blackwork to nature-inspired fine line pieces that suit the mountain surroundings. The atmosphere balances professionalism with genuine warmth, making first-timers and seasoned collectors alike feel comfortable in the chair.
Murphy sits at the far western tip of North Carolina, where the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains converge and the pace of life stays refreshingly unhurried. The clientele reflects this rugged, tight-knit corner of Appalachia — people who tend to wear their stories proudly and value artistry with personal meaning. Getting tattooed at Electric Karma means becoming part of a small community where the mountains feel close and the craftsmanship feels personal, rooted in a place unlike anywhere else in the state.
