Anarchy Ink Tattoos L.L.C. has been creating custom tattoos in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area since opening in January 2011. The studio specializes in one-of-a-kind custom artwork, working closely with clients to bring their tattoo ideas to life. The team uses vegan-friendly, all-natural pigments such as Eternal Ink, made right in Michigan, which allow color to heal faster and stay truer for a longer-lasting, vibrant result. Owner Dave, who has been tattooing for over two decades, started the shop and works predominantly by appointment. Co-owner Amanda Mischief has been with the studio since her 2011 apprenticeship and is widely known for bright color and floral tattoos, with a focus on large-scale florals and cover-ups.
Artist Mason Riley joined in 2015 and works across black and grey animal portraits, Art Nouveau, and traditional styles, while apprentice Shelby Leigh brings a background in illustration, anime, and graphic novel art. Together the artists offer a wide range of custom styles for clients old and new. The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm to 7pm, and clients can stop in, call, or email to schedule a consultation and start planning their next piece of permanent art.
