Ruby Pictures Art & Tattoo

Ruby Pictures Art & Tattoo is a tattoo and permanent makeup studio located in Turku, Finland, run by tattoo artist Tuija Heikkilä and tattooer Carita Rakkolainen. The studio offers tattoos, permanent cosmetics, and custom artwork, helping clients develop an idea into a finished design from scratch when needed. It has recently relocated to the Runosmäki area of Turku, where it continues to welcome walk-ins and appointments by arrangement, typically from late morning on weekdays.

The atmosphere is deliberately relaxed and unhurried, with generous time set aside for each client's session and a free parking area opposite the studio. Hygiene is treated as a top priority: only single-use needles and grips are used, surfaces and equipment are disinfected after every session, the space is cleaned daily, and shoes are left at the door. The inks used are EU-approved, vegan, and not tested on animals. For safety and durability reasons, certain areas such as the face, palms, soles, and genitals are not tattooed, and clients must be at least 18 years old. Detailed aftercare instructions are provided following every tattoo.
