Good Ink Tattooing has been part of Vermont's tattoo scene since 2006, when Corey Barrett founded the studio above the old Alchemist pub in Waterbury. After moving up the road in 2012, the shop relocated to South Burlington in 2022, first operating as a private studio before expanding into a larger space that now welcomes walk-ins. Corey and Liz Miner co-founded this South Burlington location in December 2022, bringing over 20 years of licensed tattooing experience and versatility across a wide range of styles. Artists Erica Swinson and Rue Locke joined the team in 2025, rounding out a crew with distinct portfolios and backgrounds.
The studio specializes in American traditional, Japanese-inspired, and realism work, among other styles, giving clients a broad range of artistic approaches to choose from. Both in-person and online consultations are offered, making it easy to plan a piece before sitting in the chair. Located in South Burlington, Vermont, the shop keeps flexible hours Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday and Monday available by appointment only, and walk-ins are welcome throughout the week.
