283 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84115
EmberSteel Tattoo Studio is a women-owned and operated tattoo studio based in Salt Lake City, Utah, offering appointment-only sessions through direct artist contact. Founded by co-owners Laura and Robyn, the studio was created as a beautiful, clean, and inviting space where tattooers and collectors can collaborate, with artists working independently for themselves so they have more time to care for clients, family, and their own well-being. The studio's guiding values are harmony, fairness, and beauty, with a stated goal of fostering happy, healthy artists who create meaningful tattoos and experiences while making every client feel valued.
The resident artist roster covers a wide range of specialties, including illustrative, watercolor, and fine art work; clean line, geometric, and color tattoos; neo-traditional and black & grey traditional styles; realism and surrealism; fine line and etching techniques; botanical and blackwork designs; bold line work; and anime-inspired color pieces. This breadth allows clients to find an artist suited to nearly any style, from delicate botanical illustration to bold traditional black work. Prospective clients are encouraged to reach out directly to individual artists to book, reflecting the studio's collaborative, artist-first approach to building relationships between tattooers and the Salt Lake City community they serve.
