Tattoo Good Things is a private, semi-private tattoo studio tucked into North Clintonville in Columbus, Ohio. The shop began as Long Street Collective before moving to MSC Tattoo, and eventually settling into its current low-key location, purposefully quiet and community-minded, choosing collaboration with neighboring businesses over competition. There's no shop manager or central schedule here; each artist manages their own bookings and works the hours they choose, giving the space a relaxed, self-directed atmosphere.
The resident artists cover a wide stylistic range. Owner Andy Johnson draws tattoos alongside a roster that includes Alex Powell, bringing over a decade of experience in fineline, bold traditional, etching-style and realism work with an emphasis on readability and lasting contrast; Will Allan, whose custom pieces pull from vintage American traditional tattooing; and Elle Yax, known for bold lines and bright colors in a modern take on American traditional with pop culture references, offering both custom designs and a large selection of flash. Walk-ins can often be accommodated same day or within a few days by calling the shop directly.
