Bare Skin Tattoo is a tattoo studio in Independence, Missouri, operating as a single-artist shop where clients book directly through a detailed consultation process. Prospective clients are asked to specify placement, size, budget, and preferred style before their appointment, reflecting a custom, made-to-order approach to every piece. The studio works across a range of styles, including floral, line work, realism, traditional, and dot work, and offers both color and black-and-grey work depending on the client's vision.
The shop also accepts cover-up work, requesting well-lit photos and the age of the existing tattoo or scar ahead of time to plan coverage effectively. For lettering and script pieces, clients are asked to choose a font and confirm exact wording in advance, with a note that translation services aren't offered since work is designed only in English. This intake process, built around clear communication and preparation, points to a studio that values precision and personalized planning for every tattoo it creates in Independence, Missouri.
