Odyssey Wellness Tattoo is a private tattoo studio in Brookline, Massachusetts, built specifically for tattooing women who have gone through breast cancer and are ready to complete the final, healing step toward recovery. The studio is led by Darlene DiBona Chesko, a Boston-based artist who has worked professionally since 1999, beginning her career in San Francisco and Maui before returning home in 2005. She later completed cosmetic tattoo education at the John Hashey School for Cosmetic Tattooing and has spent the last twelve years focused on areola re-pigmentation and mastectomy tattooing, work she describes as giving purpose beyond traditional tattooing.
Services include post-mastectomy artistic tattoos, post-mastectomy re-pigmentation, scar camouflage, gender-affirming tattoos, traditional artistic tattoos, and microblading, all offered in a tranquil, private setting designed for compassionate, one-on-one care. Beyond breast cancer survivors, the studio serves anyone who has endured physical trauma, including clients seeking gender affirmation work and cosmetic scar coverage. The approach centers on using tattoo artistry to help clients reclaim a sense of wholeness, blending technical skill in re-pigmentation and camouflage techniques with genuine sensitivity toward each client's healing journey.
