Zaza Ink is an award-winning tattoo and piercing studio serving Worcester, Massachusetts, and the surrounding Central Massachusetts community. What began in 2001 as a one-man storefront has grown into a full-fledged tattoo community, owned and operated by Joe "Zaza" Peterson and his family. The shop is staffed by several artists, half of whom bring more than twenty years of experience apiece, and it regularly hosts guest artists visiting from around the world. Alongside custom tattooing, the studio offers piercing services and embraces a bit of everything else along the way, from oddities to a shared love of Star Wars.
Artistic range runs wide here, covering portraits, pin-ups, traditional, and tribal work, with the team describing their approach simply as doing it all. Beyond the tattoo chair, the studio takes an active role in local outreach, partnering with community organizations, fundraisers, and dermatology resources for clients.
