Pigment Custom Tattoo and Piercing has been part of the New Orleans tattoo scene since 2005, operating on Magazine Street. The studio offers custom tattoo and piercing services, working with clients on their own ideas, illustrations, or even napkin sketches to develop one-of-a-kind, fully custom designs rather than repeating existing work. Its resident artists cover a wide range of specialties, including black and grey, illustrative, traditional, fine line, Japanese, Chicano, tribal and ornamental, anime, and bold color work, alongside dedicated piercing services, giving clients plenty of options under one roof.
The shop has built a strong reputation in New Orleans for quality, safety, and well-executed artwork, and it welcomes walk-ins all day long in addition to scheduled appointments. Clients are encouraged to consult directly with any of the artists or piercers to talk through concepts before committing to a design. With a roster of artists each bringing their own focus, from stipple shading to full color and Japanese-inspired work, the studio maintains a clean, friendly, and approachable environment suited to both first-time visitors and returning collectors seeking custom tattoo work in New Orleans.
