Chicago Realism Tattoos operates on the North-West side of Chicago as a professional studio built entirely around bespoke artwork. The team specializes in black & gray and color realism, with a particular focus on portraits, animals, statues, sleeves, and back pieces, and every design is custom-made for each client individually. The studio works by appointment only, giving artists the space to focus fully on individual projects rather than walk-in work.
The team includes founder Vik, an award-winning artist known for color and black & gray portraiture and realism, alongside artists Naz, Andres, Mike, and Ivan. Naz draws on classical Renaissance sculpture and art for inspiration, Andres focuses on animal portraits and fine line custom pieces, Mike specializes in large-scale black and grey tattooing, and Ivan is classically trained in fine art and works in black & gray realism, micro-realism, and fine line. Together they bring diverse backgrounds and languages, including English, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Polish, and Spanish, to a shop built on individualized, detail-oriented realism work in Chicago, Illinois.
