Northside Tattoos has served North Wilmington, Delaware since opening in 2004, quickly earning a reputation as the go-to destination for quality tattoos and body piercings in the area. Owned by Matt Stankis, the studio was voted Best of Northern Delaware in both 2014 and 2015 by the North Delaware What's Happening List. The team draws regular clients from across the tri-state area, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland, thanks to consistent quality and professionalism built up over the years.
The studio offers both custom and flash tattoo work alongside a full range of body piercing services, with a piercer experienced in everything from ear lobes to more advanced placements. Cleanliness and safety are central to the shop's identity: sterilization standards exceed Delaware Division of Public Health and OSHA requirements, needles are never reused, and non-disposable instruments are ultrasonically cleaned and autoclaved, with monthly third-party spore testing. Body jewelry is implant-grade surgical stainless steel free of nickel. Clients are welcomed into a clean, friendly, professional environment and encouraged to browse flash and reference materials, ask questions, and consult directly with the artists before committing to a design.
