Dragon's Lair Tattoo is Dothan, Alabama's home for traditional and Japanese-style tattooing, founded by artist Alex Schultz after more than 25 years working in tattoo shops across the country and world. The shop was built to feel like a welcoming old-school street shop, where quality tattoos, honest service, and respect for every client form the foundation of the work. Walk-ins are welcome alongside scheduled appointments, and every client is treated like family from the moment they walk through the door.

The studio offers custom tattoos, traditional designs, Japanese-inspired artwork, black and gray work, full-color pieces, custom lettering, cover-ups, and flash tattoos, working closely with each client whether the project is a small walk-in piece or a large custom design meant to stand the test of time. The space combines the feel of a classic tattoo parlor with a clean, professional environment, with artwork and tattoo flash covering the shop from baseboards to ceiling. It's a bold, art-filled setting shaped by decades of hands-on experience in the craft.
