Olde City Tattoo has been part of Philadelphia's tattoo scene since 1999, when Jason Goldberg opened the shop alongside a handful of the city's best artists. The studio describes itself as being all about good friends and great ink, with artists bringing centuries of combined experience to every session. Clients are welcomed to bring anything from a classic design to a fully custom concept, and the team is happy to talk through ideas before getting to work. Located at 2nd Street in Philadelphia's Old City neighborhood, the shop reflects the historic character of its surroundings while keeping its approach relaxed and welcoming.
The studio also offers piercing services alongside its tattoo work, giving visitors more than one reason to stop by. Olde City Tattoo is open seven days a week, with tattooing available by appointment or walk-in, making it accessible for both planned custom pieces and spur-of-the-moment ink. Weekday and Saturday hours run from noon to 8pm, with slightly shorter Sunday hours from noon to 7pm. The shop maintains an active online presence showcasing its artists' work, giving prospective clients a clear sense of the range and quality of tattoos produced there before they ever walk through the door.
