Hutton Street Tattoo has been serving the Jersey City Heights since 2007, making it the longest-running tattoo shop in the neighborhood. The studio maintains a clean, professional environment and specializes in bold traditional tattoos, while its artists are able to accommodate a variety of other styles as well. It's a shop built on experience and consistency, offering a comfortable, no-frills space for clients getting both large custom pieces and smaller walk-in designs.
The studio welcomes walk-ins on a first come, first served basis, with placement in line starting once a client physically arrives at the shop, though calling ahead to check availability is encouraged. Appointments can also be scheduled directly with artists through their social media pages. Clients are asked to eat beforehand, as only water and small snacks are permitted inside, and to keep phones silenced throughout their visit. This straightforward, respectful approach to the tattooing process reflects the shop's focus on professionalism and a distraction-free experience for everyone getting work done in Jersey City.
