Irish Jays Tattoo Collective, located in Brookhaven, New York, offers tattooing, permanent cosmetics, and paramedical tattooing under one roof. The studio's lead artist, Irish Jay, brings over 30 years of experience to the shop, having started tattooing in 1992, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts. He specializes in black and grey realism and portraiture, crafting detailed, lifelike designs. Clients can begin with a free one-on-one consultation with Jay, discussing design, placement, size, and color in a relaxed, comfortable setting before booking a session.
Alongside Jay, artist Natalie, known as Betty, specializes in traditional and cosmetic tattooing, including minimalist fine line work and fine line finger tattoos. A New York State licensed esthetician with a Fine Arts background from FIT and SUNY New Paltz, she also offers microblading, combination brows, lip blush tattoos, and permanent eyelash enhancement. Free in-person or virtual consultations with Betty are required before most tattoo sessions. The collective is open six days a week, closed Sundays, providing a personalized approach across both tattooing and permanent cosmetic services.
