Cordero Collective Tattoos is a queer women-owned tattoo studio in Syracuse, New York, established in 2021 with a mission to provide quality, lasting body art in a safe, welcoming space for all bodies, genders, sexual orientations, and skin colors. The studio's small team covers a wide range of styles: fine line work, lettering, and detailed linework from Jessica; portrait work and multiple award-winning tattooing across all styles from Jenn; and American traditional and linework from junior artist Alecia, who accepts both walk-ins and appointments. The other artists work by appointment only.
The studio's atmosphere is intentionally relaxed and warm, with lo-fi instrumental music, custom art on the walls, and well-loved plants filling the reception area. Beyond tattooing, the shop maintains an active community presence, hosting fundraising events throughout the year that benefit causes such as Planned Parenthood and The Q Center, and regularly partnering with other local businesses for pop-up events. The founders set out to rebel from traditional tattoo culture, aiming to ensure clients never feel belittled or uncomfortable, and instead feel empowered to advocate for their best possible tattoo experience.
