Above All Tattoo - Pacific Beach
1142 Garnet Avenue, San Diego, CA 92109
Above All Tattoo sits in the heart of Pacific Beach, San Diego, just a few blocks from the Pacific Beach Boardwalk, and is recognized as one of the oldest shops in the neighborhood. The studio's current team includes artists Skoobz, Tony, Chopper, and Arjun, who work across a wide range of styles, from simple fine line tattoos to large-scale back pieces, as well as bold color, Japanese, traditional, and minimalistic work. Some artists book out months in advance, so consultations and appointments are recommended for detailed custom pieces.
The shop also welcomes walk-in tattoos and piercings on weekends, offering a first-come, first-served option for those looking to get inked spontaneously. Its atmosphere is described as clean, modern, relaxed, and friendly, with a staff dedicated to guiding clients through the entire tattoo process, from concept to finished piece. Whether working with first-time clients or experienced collectors, the artists emphasize approachability and strong customer service, aiming to create tattoos that are both meaningful and high quality within a laid-back Pacific Beach setting.
