Soul Imagez Tattoo has served San Jose, California since opening its doors in 2011. As a true family-owned tattoo shop, it maintains consistent quality throughout every visit, treating each client with integrity and respect regardless of the size or detail of their tattoo. The studio blends old-school values with modern safety standards, offering private rooms and a clean, modern space designed with the client experience in mind. Beyond tattooing, the shop also offers permanent cosmetic and makeup services, including eyebrows done by the owner, Melanie.
Clients can choose from styles such as fine line, shaded, outlined, and script work, with knowledgeable artists guiding them through every step of the process. Walk-ins are welcome on weekends for smaller tattoos requiring little to no drawing time, while appointments are preferred for more detailed pieces. The shop keeps an active presence on Instagram and Yelp, where visitors can browse artist portfolios before booking. Customers consistently highlight the honest, hardworking, and friendly nature of the artists, along with a collaborative approach that incorporates client inspiration into the final design. The studio also maintains a second location in Dublin, California.
