Miss Pokes Tattoo

Miss Pokes Tattoo is a handpoke tattoo studio based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines, run by artist Chelsi Amour. She began doing handpoked tattoos in 2017 and went full-time in the craft in 2019, eventually opening her own space, Creature Comfort Studio, in August 2023. The studio operates by appointment only and focuses exclusively on hand-poked work, including custom illustrative pieces and non-repeatable flash designs spanning botanical forms, animals, and personal, story-driven imagery inspired by clients' roots and everyday life.

The approach centers on making people feel comfortable and happy in their own skin, treating each tattoo as a way of decorating oneself with things that are personally meaningful. Custom pieces often draw on clients' backgrounds, such as designs honoring specific cultural heritage, alongside recurring flash motifs like stars, sparrows, and botanical studies. Beyond individual bookings, the studio has also brought flash tattoo sets to pop-up market events in Metro Manila. Chelsi Amour's work and perspective on handpoke tattooing have been featured in several Philippine and international publications, reflecting an established presence within the local handpoke and stick-and-poke tattoo community.
